French 75 – A Garden Toast to Mischief

The French 75 is a classic — but when made with The Potager, it becomes something entirely its own. The lemon, sugar, and bubbles are still there, but the garden botanicals of the gin pull it somewhere greener, fresher, more playful 

It’s the kind of cocktail you raise in a toast before a night you’ll talk about later. Elegant but not fussy. Bright but grounded. A little bit posh, a little bit cheeky — just like the best dinner guests.

Ingredients

  • 30ml Papaiti Potager Gin

  • 15ml Fresh lemon juice

  • 15ml Sugar syrup

  • Sparkling wine or Champagne to top

  • Ice

  • Garnish: Lemon twist

 

How to Make It

  1. Add Potager gin, lemon juice, and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice.

  2. Shake until your fingers feel frosty.

  3. Strain into your favourite fancy glass — coupe, flute, vintage teacup, you do you.

  4. Top with bubbles.

  5. Garnish with a twist of lemon zest and raise it high.
